The Airspace to be handed over to foreign Countries

The caretaker minister of Air Transport and Aviation of Somalia Ali Ahmed Jama Jangali has been accused of planning to hand-over the country’s airspace to neighboring Nations.

Chairman of the aviation agency Abdiwahid Omar Sheikh Ahmed said Jangali is expected to sign an agreement to Kenya, Ethiopia, Djibouti and Mauritius over the airspace February 16.

Ahmed said the outgoing aviation minister of Somalia is signing this secret deal to Kenya, Ethiopia, Djibouti and Mauritius, before the new government takes the office next 2 months.

The minister flew to Canada, to ink the agreement for Kenya, Ethiopia, Djibouti and Mauritius that want to manage the Somalia’s airspace which is now under UN office in Nairobi.
