MP: president commits corruption he warned 2012
The outgoing Somali president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has been accused of corruption that he warned in 2012 on the eve of his election as president of the horn of Africa nation.
Former Interior minister and currently a new MP in the forthcoming federal parliament Abdullah Godah Barre said the president uses the national asset as a tool for his campaign.
Speaking to Radio Shabelle, Mr Barre said the country’s federal electoral commission is siding with the president who is a presidential candidate and standing for a re-election.
He said the president has warned the current electoral fraud during his presidential bid in 2012, whereby he called for free and fair electoral process.
