Somalia: Calm Returns To Godinlabe After Gun Battle
A precarious Calm has returned to Godinlabe town in central Somalia after a deadly fight between Ahlu Sunna and Galmudug forces on Wednesday.
Godinlabe area in Galgadud region is reportedly calm on Thursday morning as the area is remained under the full control of the interim Galmudug troops.
Ahlu Sunna and Galmudug soldiers could exchanged gun fire in anytime as they are positioned outside the area, according to the local residents.
Galmudug troops shave ecured the town of Godinlabe following offensive which has led to the deaths of several people, including soldiers.
