Land mine blast kills Three in Mogadishu
Three people believed to be Al shabaab members lost their lives in a landmine bomb they were planting on a road at Ex-control Bal’ad junction in Mogadishu.
Local residents said they woke up to a lifeless corpses lying on a ground around Ex-control Bal’ad area, where the explosion took place on Wednesday night.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the failed bomb attack in Mogadishu, but local authorities blame the act on Al shabaab militants linked with Al Qaeda.
Somali security forces reached the scene and launched an investigation into the IED blast which left three people dead last night, according to eyewitness.
