Govt to boost Mogadishu security after deadly attack

The internal security ministry of the federal government of Somalia said it will put in place new measures to tackle escalating Al Shabaab attack in Mogadishu.

Abdikamil Mo’alim Shukri, the spokesman of the security ministry said security forces of Somalia will secure government buildings, hotels and public places.

“We urge public at large to work with the Somali security agency in securing the city and maintaining peace and stability,” the spokesman said.

The comments of the security ministry’s spokesman comes a day after Al Shabaab attacked a beach restaurant in Mogadishu and killed at least 10 people.
